Received an Email from Marcus; Watchco with sad news...... due to the extensive staff attendance to all questions in ebay listings, they decided to quit that business part. now it will be a lot more difficult for Omega Guys, to find spare parts..... and the massive Omega price rise lately does not make things easier in the future. so, here it is: Hi Joachim, How are you ? We are having a change in direction into retail away from EBay. If any of your friends and OF members would like Omega material at a good discount, let them know to contact me. I can offer at least a 30% discount on what we have on eBay. Mush more discount in many cases. Prices will in most cases be discounted below the pre - price rises from Swatch of the 1st of May. Our listings are on abouttime-ch on eBay. Anybody can email me at [email protected] Kind regards Marcus time to stock up, Guys ! kind regards. achim
I remember not so long ago when I could just walk into Watchco at lunch time and pick up my parts. Even when they moved to NZ they were still my go to for Omega bits, but then I had to pay postage and wait, it wasn't quite the same.
They used to have a website, but it was never up to date. Just too much stock i guess. More info at this thread.. https://omegaforums.net/threads/watchco-what-happened.9827/ I used to email Robert, now it's Giverny in NZ.
yes, but now you should ask Marcus direct for discounts, as pointed out in his email. kind regards. achim
Well, every time I peruse this forum I learn a bushel basket of new stuff. WatchCo...now I know. Maybe this is where I find my lost watch case back. Thanx
And are not what they were given Omega’s restriction to parts and them having sold off a lot of the old stock.
I'm afraid that this thread is almost 2 years old and that a great source has passed on. They are no longer registered on ebay, afaik, and the website doesn't show much left. It used to take an hour to browse their nos stuff.
Try them here::::::::::::::::::: https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/aboutti...IT&LH_Complete=1&rt=nc&_trksid=p2046732.m1684Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network . kind regards. achim
I bought a very nice "watchco" Speedmaster Racing Japan 2004 from Marcus last year. I wish he was still doing the Seamaster 300s, as I missed the boat there
He used to have the parts required for a SM300 though. At least case, dial and hands. You would only have to source a movement. https://omegaforums.net/threads/166-024-166-0324-seamaster-300-case-still-available.59988/
I talked to Marcus like a month ago and he is no longer having any Seamaster 300 parts in stock. Also afaik Omega itself has now run out of the service cases and new batch is being now in quality check.
