Just found it, am I right this is a first model with the orange ceramic insert? https://www.omegawatches.com/watch-omega-seamaster-ploprof-1200m-omega-co-axial-master-chronometer-55-x-48-mm-22790552199002/
Yes the 2nd gen Orange PO still have the Aluminum bezels. The third gens have the Orange in rubber currently. The Ploprof Orange ceramic Ti was announced in 2016.
Right. This one: 950 platinum, orange ceramic and liquidmetal. I found a 2014 ABTW article about this watch, where they mentioned soon we should seen a roll out of the orange ceramic to the to regular models. So, what's the deal with the rubber? Ceramic is still under development, or has been disregarded by the Omega?
They are making so many other things out of ceramic. And I’ve never known rubber to be a long lasting material. It will probably get lots of little cracks in it much loved by collectors of the future!
