Just trolling through ebay and came across this NOS Helbros alarm with box and papers. Note inside the lid. Huh?

 

Helbros marketed a watch in the 70's that would show "moon time". I think the units they used were called "lunations".

I'm curious as to the movement. I've read where they used Swiss, German and French movements, but mainly Swiss. I believe that they were a New York based company and were bought/merged with Jules Jurgensen. Could be mistaken...

Victor Kiam of Remington Shaver bought Helbros in 1968, selling it in 1977. Trust a promoter like Kiam to find a connection with the 1969 landing on the moon! He's the guy who liked the Remington razor so much that he bought the company! Maybe he liked Helbros that much, as well.
