Hi Guys, first time poster here!

I got this beautiful Omega pocket watch I need some help with, I already did some limited research and found out that the case was wade by the Waltham Watch company. It works like a charm. I checked the serial number and it seems like it is a Omega Ajdusted Movement.

Sadly I have no backstory whatsoever when it is from & I'm kinda lost what Value it may have.

Can anyone give me some information about the watch and perhaps even a ballpark estimate?

Reddit sent me here so any help is appreciated!

Thank you all & I wish you a nice day :)

    I like it.
The serial puts the movement at about 1905. At that time it was normal for an agent to import movements into the USA. The customer then went to a jewellery store and ordered a case and a movement from a selection and the items were assembled.

It was also a time when USA watch production was approaching it's height and American movements were considered superior to Swiss imports, but this movement looks to be of a quality equal to contemporary American counterparts.

So, an Omega movement in a WWC Mfg Co case isn't unusual for the time.

Let me see if I can find the caliber.

My sources indicate the Waltham Watch Co. used A.W.W.Co. as a trade mark on karat gold cases. That stands for American Waltham Watch Case Co. in his book History of the American Watch Case, Warren Neibling indicates the case maker who used the W. W. C. Mfg. Co. trade mark was the Western Watch Case Co. of Chicago, I’ll.
