I would be pleased if some one could identify this chronograph, the dial is Mother of Pearl and all the markers are Lumed on.
These are the only two scans available to me.

Weird looking thing, hands are the only part I recognise, they're 70s style Omega ones, the rest no idea :\

The 321 means its worth at least a grand if it runs well, if that serial is a 12M range that's circa 1950?

Serial number is 12976087 and the case is 174 I tried to look up the case number in the Omega vintage watch archives but the web site has been altered and I can not find the case search engine

That is case ref. 2451. It did not come with a bezel like this (which to me does not even look like an original omega bezel). The dial is not mother of pearl - looks to me like a heavily patinated dial that was chemically cleaned. Value is for the movement.

This is how an original 2451 should look like:

You know, every time Mike posts one of his pics to illustrate a discussion, I feel like a drunk that has had a bucket of ice water dumped over his head. One minute, I'm happily staggering around the forum, leaving a comment here and there, looking at fuzzy pics of this or that, a bad redial here, a dubious Ebay listing there, then BAM - with a shock, a moment of stunning clarity.

I don't think I need to collect watches anymore to be happy, I could just collect Mike's pictures of watches.

    Well said.

I was just going to type "What da f::censored:: Mike! You're giving me an inferiority complex!" but I like your post better.

Really! I have a whole bunch of his photos stored in my Photobucket account. I consider them an addition to AJTT.
