One thing that stands out is that there was engraving removed from the back of that watch at one time. I believe Mod Depose is French for registered design.

I think we'll need 24 months to getting around to typing an answer 😁

Honestly, I think I'd be disappointed otherwise.

LOL, fun comments so far…

It’s an Omega wristwatch from the late 1930s. Needs a service and new crystal, possibly a new crown (looks original but very worn). Obviously a well worn watch, but also has some old watchmaker service marks - so taken care of to some extent, sometime.

I don’t know the reference (model). It appears small by modern standards; is it? Hard to comment on the dial condition without a better picture, but it looks reasonably good from what I can see. Case is okay except for the 11 o’clock lug, which looks aggressively polished compared to the others.

Definitely a collectable watch and imho worth rescuing, particularly if there is any sentimental value in play.

Sorry for the late update with new photos....
The watch isn´t restored yet. I am interested it there is any information regarding the reference number and perhaps more information regarding early water protected Omega watches..

No engraving removed from this back, just the wear of a former (NATO?) band.
It is a CK 2064 'Naiad' first generation, with a nice unusual black radium dial. Not sure for of the hands, I would need better pictures of them (and prepared to wait four more years...). Caliber 23.4SC inside.
This reference is a collectible one as it is the first waterproof watch made by Omega (after the first diver, the marine).
Case serial dates it from around 1941.

Case number so the back stays with the mid case during production.
