I have a US Army stamped 1945 Omega manual wind with center second hand and 30T2 movement
My dial is a little rough and I'd like to replace it
I am looking for the dial that has the 3 and 9 reversed almost upside down looking. The attached picture is of another watch in my collection that is also stamped US Army on the back.
This is the dial I am looking for[IMG]

Good luck! I think you went from trying to find a relatively uncommon part to a really uncommon one! These dials are exceedingly difficult to find (whether they are in watches or not) in really nice shape that's why when I found mine (no us army stamp in the back though) it became a core part of the collection!

The challenge and the "hunt" are the most fun parts of collecting anything, are they not?
    Just sayin
I thought I'd never find a balance complete for a 30T2 movement. I considered buying an entire watch just to get the complete balance.
I ended up finding a NOS in the original packaging Omega balance complete -part #262.1327- for under $50
I just had my watch maker put it in for me and he says my WWW Omega is running more efficiently. I'll pick it up next week
It was a challenge to find this part, but I really enjoyed the hunt
So it's now on to the next challenge-any help would be much appreciated

I will let you know if I ever spot one but I think this hunt will go on for awhile.

I was looking for one for about two years and then decided the one I had was as good as I could get.

    Haven't stopped looking though ;-)

Case back pictured above of US Army stamp on my Omega
This is one of 2 US Army stamped Omegas in my collection
the other is in my avatar on the right
Scotch tape over the engraving to protect it from rubbing-the "Y" is a bubble in the tape
Engraving is stronger than in the picture

The US Army engraving on these watches was small and light and I understand that some of these US Army engravings either were polished or wore away.
I had been searching a long time for one of these. I found one and then a few months later I found this one
They are keepers in my collection

Just found and added to my collection another US Army stamped watch-this one is case back #2384
Notice the diferent US Army stamps on the 2179 (in my above picture) and the 2384 (pictured below)
This watch has a re done or incorrect dial (see picture below) dial-so I am looking for another correct military dial with radiating numerals
    Any help would be appreciated
