ยทhere is the rarer HS ( Hydrographic survey ) version of Omega`s WW2 Pilots watch. 1942. Alloy Middle unmolested with the very long lugs; not damaged or shortened ! some battle scars, but nothing serious. fixed bars. the upper of the brass fixed bars was missing. we replaced it with a stainless steel bar. secured with a drop of glue to avoid another mishap.... the lower bar is the original brass one; a bit worn now. secured as well. easy to remove, if desired. the lug holes are perfect. therefore the lugs are perfect. which is quite rare with this model; most have lug issues.... original "Bubble" glas with scratches. original crown. original case. original dial; not repainted. the script is very fine and original, but faded with age. has morphed into a silver colour with some age areas. shown in the pictures. . only the center has the light whitish colour . blued hands. the center second hand looks replaced with a different tail partand slightly thicker. works well, but service history unknown. therefore sold as is. HS engraved back has some pressure marks in the middle from opening and closing, i guess. movement looks very clean; a replacement of the mainspring might the way to go at the next service. diameter without crown: 33 mm. with crown: 35 mm. lug to lug: 43 mm. thickness: 12 mm.
