    Hello all!
I've received this Omega Memomatic Image to sell, can somebody help me with value for this.
This dial is very peculiar, I'm thinking the red markers have correct position ?
    Any help will be welcome.
    Thank you for your help.
    All the best
    Miguel

The red markers are for the alarm, when the 'pusher' is in the correct position the crown will rotate the inner dials like the hands of a clock.

I am not sure how popular these are but I think about £1500 would be around the market price.

    Hi,
Thank you for this! Today I learn something útil and good, so this memomatic have a kind of internal alarm "vibration" like Vulcain or Revue Thommen Cricket model.
    Thanks again, always learning.
All the best for you and your help

Hi this is a Memomatic in the wrong case.
there were three different cases for omega (+2 plaque and one 18k gold)
This case however was for different brands Like the Lemania itself (which supplied teh Omega 980 movement) and brans liek Bucherer, Nivada, Lordex a... all with the Lemani 2980 Movement. I would like to see the movement and not pay more than 500£.. (For the Movement)

    Best regards

Well, according to this thread, it is a correct second generation 166.072 case, and some other OF members have the same watch.

I can confirm this. I have owned some of these... :)

The second hand is wrong. It should be orange.

Here is a picture of a NOS watch I once owned for reference (with the more common case):

Your blue second hand was used on this one:

Well I think it is not one of the 2 Omega models but the third "lemania" one:

You see it is curved over the lugs (where the band will attach). The 2 Omea ones are straight.

And the alarm pusher is "Lemania " style too.
like in the Lordex with the Lemania 2980.

Got another one which is definitely modded (by myself I must confess :)) Made of some watchco parts and the movement came from a 166.072 silver dial.

And this is the outcome of it

    Interesting observation.
However my Alpina Dispomatic - cal 2980 - has got the “Omega straight lugs” cut. As do others.
That was not something uniquely Omega.
My GP cased Lemania also has the narrow chamfered case design.
My theory is that cases was delivered to Lemania in batches, and used as they came in.
This also would be in line with why very late, and service cases, with Omega references have got the wide chamfered variant.
All these 2990/980 watches were fully assembled by Lemania. As for any other complication watch within SSHI at the time.
The 18k one pictured below is very interesting as it holds Lemania papers, 2980 movement, but an Omega ref number. Recently offered for sale on Chrono24. I was unfortunately not able to bid.

That is true. The first 2 Models were also used by other companies, (Lemania, Alpina, Wyler, ...) but the third one was never used by OMEGA!
If you look at the gold plated one you will most probably find a smal OMEGA stamp. But it was used as you said for Alpina.

The lemania alarm 2980 in 18k gold you show I missed. Unfortunately, as i regularly check for Lemania 2980 and I still can not find it yet. Would you have a link? or the price it sold for
Luckily I have one with the number 3160592 ;-)
The story the collector told me and which I am inclined to belive is that it was sold to the shop in Lausanne (Switzerland) by the widow of an Lemania manager. Very few were made. But there was a model with this case also for Omega 166.106 or BA 1660106
A pic is on the Omega museums site.

The 18k was recently listed on Chrono24.
It still seems to be unsold when I checked it right now.

GP is not Alpina. My Alpina has a stainless steel case.
The GP case shown is from a Lemania. Serial 3160787.

Thanks a lot. Indeed without the cal. number I never search...
I know the store and hope to visit them sometime soon. But the price is way too high (for me).

The OMEGA stamp I ment is on the side of the lug:
