    Im looking for an Omega Medicus.

    I got offered one with ref 9943231 and cal23.4sc

    is that legit? (sorry dont have pics)

    That is not the reference number, it is the case serial number. It probably doesn't have a reference number on the inside of the case.

    The movement sounds correct. Have you checked the Omega vintage database? There are at least a dozen models called "Medicus".

    The use of the name Medicus in OVDB is in my opinion incorrect. To the Best of my knowledge, in the 30's Omega used it only for the square cased first model with a 23.4SC. Other 23.4SC didn't have this name in period catalogs or adverts. Some other names have been used for other 23.4SC models, like St Christophe, Chantilly, Monaco.

    You are correct, of course. However, since the OP doesn't have a picture and the OVDB has very few pictures from that era, we don't have a clue as to which model he is being offered.

    Not all of the OVDB's "Medicus" models have the 23.4SC movement, so that can narrow it down a little bit.
