·Just moved house and I went to the new (to me) Doctor's for the first time today
Seemed like a nice young chap (a Vietnamese Canadian guy from Toronto, now in Oxford) then I noticed he had a lovely old 1960s Seamster on. I too was wearing something similar so we talked watches, specifically Omegas. Then he looked at my sore foot. Then we talked watches some more. It was great! I left feeling a lot better.
Of mil interest is a RCAF Techron he bought and loves ("18 jewel movement") and he also told me the story of the time he saw a cal. 321 Seamaster on ebay for £40 but in the 30 seconds it took him Google that it was what he thought it was, it sold.
I promised to invent an ailment and bring some more watches to show him, which delighted him. He's thinking of putting a pulsometer bezel on his Speedmaster, natch.
