I have been reading the article in Lifetime about the Co-Axial invented by George Daniels, I urge people to read this article, really interesting. I am still very new to watches as a interest and am learning more about their movements. I cant believe his space traveler watch sold for £1,329,250! that's amazing. So is the Co-Axial movement keep better time than say a conventional ETA movement? How accurate is my 2011 speedy Moonwatch? Sorry if the questions are a bit lame but I am trying to learn as much as I can and I cant think of a better place to ask!
The co-axial escapement is not about accuracy - Daniels and Omega have said that themselves. The current co-axial watches can be very accurate indeed, but that has nothing to do with the escapement. Cheers, Al
