I haven't tried one from this manufacturer, but the straps look like they are quality stuff. Omega oem straps are also top notch though, made by Jean Rousseau. I would recommend trying out Omega oem first as a reference and then move on to other quality manufacturers.

Lots of options out there much nicer and better priced than omega OEM straps (I agree JR makes nice stuff, but paying $280 because “Omega” is stamped inside miffs me).

Here is my Speedy on a Horween shell cordovan strap from Leffot. Over $100 cheaper than Omega OEM straps and better quality leather.

I get all my straps custom made by aaronbespoke.com Amazing straps and excellent quality and service. Just got this toad skin in the mustard color for my Seamaster 300.

I posted a thread here a while back asking about OEM straps (and pretty much just got ask an OB as the responses). I tried that and surprise surprise they couldn't tell me difference or specifics other than what was in the strap book - which I'd already seen.

    Anyhow:

Jean Rousseau custom strap - made to imitate the 98000195 in the shorter length - but cost 2/3 the price of the Omega strap and arrived (to Australia) before Omega would even put through an order for a strap they didn't have in stock (probably an Oz specific thing but frustrating nevertheless).

Thanks for your imput, based on your thoughts I will probably opt for a JS strap in the future. Will post a picture of it as soon as I have it :)

That JR strap is a beauty. I'm gonna see about getting one in 21mm size.

    It really is.

They (JR) were great to deal with too. Helped me work out which leather/stitching colours and which length I'd like. In hindsight, with full flexibility I wish I'd opted for black lining like the FOIS strap but I was a bit too focused on getting the Omega strap I wanted rather than thinking outside the box.

I'm sure I'll be a repeat customer though, so there's always next time.

I own this great orange Omega PO.
I would like to add an orange strap. Original is the Omega 98000185.

But the price of that is just insane. Do you have any more affordable option?
    Thanks.
