You'd think that for 40kCHF, you could have a tasteful caseback... A Riva, a Gloster Meteor, LIMITED EDITION, etc ...

WTF? Was it so hard and costly to make a plain back with a nicely engraved seamonster, or at least a less cluttered see through?

    Call me old fashioned...

I like them visually, but these do not wear as nicely on the wrist for me... a little bit taller than I expected.

I think the watch is quite nice from an esthetic point of view, exept for the caseback, but did they have to put Pt950 on the dial?
I don't mind the Zr02 on the sporty "tool" watches but the dial of a 40k platinum dress watch should be as uncluttered as possible in my opinion.
There is already enough text on it.

I wish they would stop putting crap on the see through casebacks. I think it looks tacky.

They were supposed to be delivered to the OB's in October but now I hear it is March 2019 for deliveries.
They should concentrate on meeting their own timescales instead of producing more and more LE, which of course has an effect on delivery.::facepalm1::

I agree, I missed it because I focused on the back. I wonder if a manufacture would have the balls to put X2CrNiMo17-12-2 on a SS watch dial ::facepalm2::
I angers me a little because for once, I like the design of a modern dial- even if it is a remake of the old ones.
