·Rare is an overused term in watch collecting, but there's no doubting the rarity of the Speedmaster Professional LCD 'moonwatch' 186.004.
This one is fully working, with a recent new battery. Nice original condition, the case appears to be un polished and the bezel is solid and has no cracks. There are some scratches on the glass (new glasses are still available from Omega) and there are initials lightly engraved on the rear which are not deep so easily removed by a competent watchmaker if desired. Comes on a vintage leather perforated 'racing' strap similar to the original ones that this model came with, although this is a non omega strap.
Comes with a very nice vintage original Speedmaster LCD booklet and instruction manual in mint condition. The booklet contains information on timing the Olympic games, the Space Shuttle missions, photos and details on all the Speedmaster LCD models as well as full instructions on operating the watch.
Asking £2,200 or near offer (net) including delivery.
