She maybe asked for a JLC but... I like Omega on her wrist. It’s 31mm and I was wondering what if the bracelet was a little bit longer

My wife never liked watches very much. But she witnessed how I struggeled for many years to get my personal "holy grail" until I finally bought it. Then I gave it to her as a declaration of love, because I find this idea so romantic. That was years ago. 3 weeks ago, I got myself a new PO 8900, 43.5 mm, and sugested to my wife to get the same model for her in 39,5 mm, so we can do partner look, but she says this watch has such a deep sentimental value for her, she can not wear another. Of course I understand her.

Another of m’lady. This was a Benrus when acquired. The movement was an odd one, and in tough shape. A quick survey through my stash, and the Benrus became a Bulova. It is 14-karat gold.

Yeah, watch couple goal is so romantic gesture. Well done, Explorador!

Passion for watches + passion in a relationship can be a lot of fun
Whoahh, easy tiger! 😉
Would OF'ers (@karina_boheme , want to hear your take on this) like to make some suggestions for great his-and-hers pairings? (I'm guessing we need to go a bit easier on the tool watches? Dunno.) Vintage or new...

My wife has worn a ladies quartz Aqua Terra (steel, no jewels on dial or bezel) for a couple of years. She loves it, but has always wanted a Cartier Tank. She got her wish yesterday. It took her awhile to choose the size, but finally decided on the smaller one.

They even threw in a free strap (but no clasp, unfortunately). I’ll have to buy one of those later - they didn’t have any in stock.

Oh, how embarrasing! I am really sorry for this! When I wrote this I was not aware that it could be also understood in another way.
The pic of the 3 oysters paella was ment to show how we enjoy cooking together and our almost "partner-look" watches, in a romantic way.

I offer my sincere apologies!!

My partner admires all my watches collected over many years , but she is not interested in any of the watches I have shown her in the hope of giving Her including some high end Omega and Rolex models. She has two Tissot dress watches which she likes as they mostly look like bracelets

Mrs Guwipa prefers the tiny golden ones over everything else I gifted her from Omega. This one is a Sapphette from the early 60ies ( and lucky me, these tiny pieces used to be available just for its weight in gold - more money to spend on my own watches 😀)

Hi Karina,
Welcome to the forum- nice to hear that Fratello enlisted a woman contributor.
To answer your question, I only have one Omega ladies watch - a delightful litttle art deco watch which was once gifted to me by a longtime member here whose wife didn’t want it. I also have a 1942 Royal Air Force watch. Both have sentimental value.
Other than that,
I tend to prefer and wear other watch brands.

Edit/ add- I just noticed this query is in the « modern Omega » subforum so I’m clearly not in the target audience. (But that was already clear anyhow right?).

My wife has a 3 watch "collection" of BB36, Baume and Mercia Pearl and a Gold Cartier Tank, but after I got some quick release straps she now borrows my smaller watches.

Will redo these photos with all watches later...

Although not a ladies watch per se, nor an Omega(!) I told her, “I’m buying this watch and if you don’t like it, that’s ok. This is the perfect blend of what you said you liked and what I would love to see you wear.” She’s still wearing it.

Hi @karina_boheme your review on the Omega Tresor is quite interesting to read. I was very interested to see you mention, in that and other articles, the fact that this and other watches are made to appeal for « modern women » or «millenials ».
Since you’re an international marketing specialist, I’m very curious whether you or Omega have a sense —defined no doubt by qualitative surveys— as to what «modern women» and « millenials » want from a watch?

I would think a global company launching new products in this economy tries to get some sort of data before they do so.

Does Omega make those studies available for you to be able to carry out your reviews, or are you using your own data?

Or is this forum a way to gather data for future reviews perhaps?

Mrs. Wagudc is very practical and does not like to spend money on things like watches and clothing. She has worn this everyday for longer than I can remember. It is her only watch other than a Garmin GPS watch for running. She has gotten more compliments on it than I have on my Speedmaster. It is quartz, but has no annoying ticking second hand. Overall I like it.

These are what I've been wearing recently - although you can tell which one I've been wearing the most recently 😀
