Its actually a Centenary, celebrating 100 years of Omega, which happened in 1946.

Nice example - original dial and correct movement. Case has a bit of polish but not a dealbreaker.

What would be a fair selling price for this. I don't have anything to base it off of since I haven't seen one of these before

Ooh, I don't have that kind of cash right now. Well, good luck to anyone else who wants to go for this, it looks like a really cool piece!

That is one of the watches I'd make an exception to my plan for, but I don't know if I'd want to do that right now. For the brief time I had my 2500, I really liked the way it fit - and of course I'm a fool for gold dials.

What's the size difference between the 2499 and 2500?

About 2mm all the way around. 33mm vs. 35mm diameter.

Ahk, yea 33 is a bit too small for me, maybe after I've done my Constellation and Seamaster shopping I'll look at a 2500, XJR's example with that darker rose patina actually looks pretty cool

Threw $1750 at it and didn't even reach the max bid of whoever's leading.

I just threw 1850 in after I saw your post and that there was a minute left. I was the high bidder for less than a minute :(
