But that's like wearing the wrong size suit - it just doesn't fit me. Never liked the way they sit on my wrist, but everyone else should have as many as they can afford.
. I just clicked on a WTF ad and read that The Wrist Club for Men is have a combined 2 for 1 sale with the Hair Club for Men, chance of a lifetime. 😜I don't know if I'd insult the whole forum, but taper is essentially the problem. 😜 Most guys can wear a larger watch on the forearm side of the bone that sticks out on the side/back of their wrist (pisiform?). I can't. This causes the crown to dig in if it's located in the standard 3:00 position. 40 mm or larger dictates an offset like some Seikos have or opposite crown like the caliber 11/12/14/15's had.
Now an Omega with three small subdials, is not particularly specific, but what is notable is the lack of a date being mentioned, and the lack of any further complications, which would tend to indicate that the watch is a simple three register chronograph without date.
I, (Through no fault of my own), saw Fifty Shades this passed Valentines, and it would seem he sports a couple of Omegas through out the course of the movie.
The opening sequence shows a very "Patrick Bateman-esc" grooming scene, where he pulls open a drawn, to reveal about 8 different watches, it flicked only for a moment, but from what I remember, most, if not all were Omegas.
Out of the 8, he wears two, both with leather straps.
The first was a stainless Aqua Terra Chrono with a white face, and the second, a Red or Sed...bla whatever it's called, gold Speedmaster co-axil automatic with the two sub-dials, instead of the three.
Terrible movie, nice watches. why a Billionaire would be wearing Omega sports watches and not Patek grande super complications is beyond me, but it appears that the authors oversight has followed through with a nice endorsement deal in the cinema.
