    Vintage Omega movement lovingly shoe-horned into a bastardized case. I've done this with a couple of IWC movements where some misguided souls have scrapped out the case and given me beautiful movements. I pick up generic NOS "contractor" cases at the watch shows for pennies and do the same just to wear around a very cool movement. Would never sell, though.

    One size fits all, eh? It's bad enough when same-brand frankens are concocted. This is blasphemy!

    Agreed. When trying to sell it as authentic. When you put a 911 engine in a Vanagon, you can't sell it as a 911 but you still can enjoy a quirky ride. ;)

    At least there is a historical connection between VW and Porsche. :D

    Until Swatch acquired both Omega and Longines, there was no connection between the companies at all.

    A creative concoction, but phony nonetheless.
