Possibly the bastard offspring resulting from a mating of a vintage Yema Yachtingraf and Tissot "Lobster" Navigator...
They are sold out. However, my friend at the Omega Boutique offered me as many as I want. So, if anyone was shut out and needs one feel free to PM me and I can put you in contact. No, I dont want to make a penny...
See that was my question.... "they're sold out" but "I can get you as many as you want" sounds like they're trying to create a market for these based on hyping up the rarity
Just got an email from my buddy Glenn at the Vegas OB who said they're going quickly, but still have a few pieces available.
What a bunch of wankers. Can't wait to see what these actually end up trading for six months down the line.
I didn’t think he was trying to sell them himself, more that he would put anyone interested “in contact”. I assumed that to mean in contact with the OB that has some reserved.
Doesn’t quite match does it? Normally “sold out” means every unit spoken for by someone who wants one. In this case I guess many are simply spoken for by someone looking to sell them on. Like ST1 and ST2, we won’t know the true demand relative to the LE number of 500 until many months after they’ve all been delivered. By then, people’s predictions of gloom or glory will be long forgotten...
Nope, the OP (you have above 200 posts ). But @abrod520 does make a pertinent point... Sure, I did not mean it that way (no offense meant OP), and it appears a good gesture but just generally seems odd all things considered.
Be interesting to make predictions what these will be selling for in a years time... My guess would be $4k max
