I have always been a huge fan of Omega watches but never really cared to read about the history of the brand. When I was younger I always thought it was boring, but as I get older I find myself reading more and more about it. I ran into a good article about the Omega history that really did a good job. One thing I wasn't sure about, and wanted to get more clarification on, is the claim that Omega watches are resistant to magnetic fields. Is that correct or was it just one special watch that was made once upon a time?

No, it wasn't a single special watch once upon a time although what you read might have been referring to a single special watch from the past. All of the newest co-axial master chronometers which have been in full production for years now are fully antimagnetic. For many years, most Speedmasters and Seamasters with solid case backs have soft iron cages and caps around the movement which affords protection from magnetic fields. Depends on what you mean by historical, once upon a time, or special. Your question is otherwise too vague to provide a more precise answer.
