Greetings I have recently purchased my first pocket watch, hopefully case and movement number's are visible below. I believe that case was produced in 1923, movement in 1916.
Recently serviced and keeps goodtime.

Case is gunmetal but this seems lot lighter now.

Would this have been produced as railway or military watch. I noticed use of 24hr clock in red.

Any information on this type of watch would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards Nigel20240529_114013.jpg 20240529_124033.jpg 20240529_125149.jpg 20240529_152236.jpg

I don't think it's a railroad issued watch, as these would generally been of a higher grade. A military issued watch would have some sort of property markings on the back. Without seeing that, we cannot tell. However, many civilian watches were sold with military-style dials.
