Hello, this is my first post, I look forward to your assessment.

I have an Omega here where the case doesn't fit me. It has Viennese hallmarks on the side and the back cover. Was there such an original housing or do you think it was made later?

Warm regards

Chris

As gatorcpa said. Movement is most likely genuine and could have been an orphan movement (was in a gold case that was scrapped in the early 80's when gold prices spiked)

Somebody had a new case made for it.

You would need to remove the back to see if any other information is inside

It could also be genuine. Maybe movements imported and cased in Vienna to avoid taxes on gold watches. Looks like a quality made case and similar in design to some other Omega cases

Thank you all for your advice. Here are some Fotos from inside the case. No marks at the inside of the bottom but a very nice movement, as you said I don't think the case is genuine omega.
