That is a very nice picture Kyle! Should also post that on the textured dial thread. I don't think it has a Globemaster on it yet.
The new model is an amazing watch in every way in its own right. However, it does not look like the original unless the original had different variations.
Would you want a copy? I think a beautiful new edition that pays tribute to the past but proudly displays the new... is most acceptable. If you are expressing a preference for the vintage, I understand fully! I have a wish for a 1951 tdmp as a grail piece..... but recognize it as too fragile and too rare. Still, I would love to have this in the safe, to drool over as "my precious" and would proudly wear a "Museum" as a tribute. so far, I have some great photos! I look at the Globemaster the same way, a classic look modernized.
