    Hi all,

I inherited this watch from my granddad. It was at my moms place for years and years because i did not really care about watches when he passed away. I remember about the watch the other day and took it home with me.

I have been searching on google and chrono24 and there are a lot of different types of Omega geneves. I cannot really determine which one this is and from what year it might be.

Can anyone tell me some more about this watch? And maybe what it might be worth?
Not that i'm intending to sell it, just out of curiosity. It appears to be gold.

The quickset date is stuck, the watch is still running though. I'll have to bring it in for a service sometime.

The scratches are on the crystal, not on the dial. The dial is spotless.

I think it's a 162.033 from the late 60:s maybe into the 70:s ? Movement probably a 565 automatic . A service and a new crystal an it would be very nice watch .

    thanks for your reply.

there are a lot of different models as far as i can see, with different lugs and hands.

I'll have it serviced by a watch maker soon.

I think i can buff out the scratches with polywatch?
