I'm looking around for a watch for my mother as a birthday gift and i come across this today. I know a little bit about watches but i'm far from an expert. I searched online for any info and this watch but it proved fruitless. I came across similar watches but they had leather straps mostly. Just wondering if anyone has any info on this by looking at it? I'm thinking it's a mechanical as it doesn't have automatic on the dial. Possibly 1960's? It's a bad photo but it says Geneve and also has Swiss Made on the bottom of the face. If anyone could give me a rough price estimate as well on this watch as i don't fancy getting ripped off cheers.
Late 60s early 70s would be about right. Stretch bracelet has been added and is not original to the watch, would have come on a leather strap. Ladies watches don't fetch much, just not popular, probably around $100 US max in good condition.
Hi X350 XJR Thanks for the reply, appreciate it. You confirmed my feeling that the strap wasn't an original as i couldn't see any online like that. Will stay well clear of it. And to think he has this on sale for over 200 euro, crazy.
