Hi All,

I've purchased a few watches here and on other forums, but am new to selling on the forum. I am though, an old, old hand on eBay (since 1999 - see http://feedback.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=gafisher&ftab=FeedbackAsSeller) - my feedback rating is 1057, consisting of 100% positives, 0 negatives (ever) - most of which is selling off parts of my watch collection... As you can see I have pretty good feedback there. 😀

I thought this time I would give the forums a shot, as there's not really anything to lose.

For sale is this early 70s Omega Geneve with green toned TV dial. The dial is original and has not been refinished or repainted. Even though it's only 36mm wide, the shape of the case means that it wears larger, more like a 38-40mm watch. It has the signed dial, signed caseback and signed hesalite crystal, but the crown is an unsigned replacement. The bracelet and clasp are also signed/numbered and correct for the model (1232/669). This bracelet and end pieces are discontinued and no longer available. Will fit maximum 19.5cm or 7.75" wrist.

It is (I believe) a 1012 automatic. Service history is completely unknown, but is currently running fine with both automatic winding and manual winding. Accuracy of timekeeping also unknown - I almost never time any of my watches as with 30+ watches, I almost never wear any individual watch for any longer than 18 hours. Additionally, while I've owned this for around a year, I almost never wear it.

I'm asking AU$420 including shipping costs. At today's exchange rates that is approximately US$397 or GB£233 or €292. While I am open to offers, please no lowball ones - any offers will need to be reasonable to be considered.

Any questions, please PM me. Remember that with time zone differences, there may be some delays in getting a reply, but I'm generally pretty quick. If you have any doubts you can always log onto eBay, search for my userid (gafisher - as per the link above) and message me from there to verify that I am who I say I am... 😀

Now the pictures....
