    Edit: corrected picture uploads.

I recently aquired this watch from a family member. Don't know much about it, but it was supposedly purchased in 1977. What can you tell me about this watch? Is the watch face original? What would be a reasonable starting price if I ever was to sell it?

Any information you may possess is valuable to me.

Watch is genuine. It was made in the 70s, year can be determined if we decipher what's engraved in the red circle below. Not a very sought-after model, these go for around €300 on ebay.

It’s an unattractive watch. The movement is not particularly sought after. You might as well keep it and wear it or, alternatively, give it to another 'family member' who will appreciate it rather more than you.

Unattractive is harsh. The blue dial has some appeal but I agree it is a mundane model with a plain unloved movement from Omega's dark ages. Bearing in mind it likely needs a service to make it usable at a cost of maybe $200-300, I don't think it would fetch much more than ~$200 in its current condition, since even when serviced it wouldn't be worth much more than $400.

No one in this forum would pay more than €200, if anything, for it but IMO you can get closer to 300 on ebay if you make nice photos properly showing the blue dial.
