    Good afternoon.
I was thinking of pulling the trigger on this watch on the bay. I just wondered if anyone had any opinions on it, or can spot any potential irregularities with it?
    Thanks in advance

A picture of the backcase inner side wide with the reference number would help a lot to check if the model and movement are matching.

Looking at dial I would say redial.
    Too thick script.

You could be right, "Omega" is printed a lot more wider than the others that I found in a quick search.

Though being not shure, I think there are a lot of variations...

Let's see what the others say ::popcorn::

    EDIT:

    For comparison:

Here’s my Geneve for script comparison to OPs watch. Seems OK to me.

The only question (a dumb one, I suspect) - for my own education, really - I have is with the hour marker inserts not matching the hands. The hands on the OPs object of desire have lume which match the lume plots, of course. So I guess my question is if hour markers are inlaid AND have lume plots, the lume takes precedent vis a vis the hands? Thanks in advance for help.

At first glance I suspected a redial, but that may be due to crystal distortion. I'm always suspicious of those shiny starburst dials. I would have expected the word "AUTOMATIC" to be wider than the OMEGA.

It may all be due to focus and refraction but I'd need to see better pictures.

If you're not after a "collector grade" watch but a daily wearer it would be OK.

This is mine with a 565 movement, made in 1969. Yours looks like it’s been cleaned and serviced more recently- which is good.

Looks like those lume plots just have been added later, unfortunately the guy did not put any lume on the hands (still cannot tell time in the dark).
