Omega Geneve 166.0173 vertical linen dial rare or fake?

I recently acquired an Omega Genève Automatic, reference 166.0173 with caliber 1012. The dial has a vertical brushed/striped texture. I was wondering if this dial finish is original to this reference, or if it might be a redial/refinished one.

The watch runs well and appears to be in good condition overall, but before I dive deeper into servicing/valuing it, I’d like to confirm whether this dial variation is considered genuine or unusual.

Has anyone seen this vertical brushed dial on a Genève 166.0173 before? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

So Omega did make some vertical striped dials in that time period, more so a bit earlier though. I have not seen a Geneve of that reference or similar with one though, vertical brushed for sure have been made in these but I just haven’t actually seen striped before like that.

Omega was using a lot of different dial designs and suppliers at the time including some that look a bit odd or off, so it’s hard to tell at times in these

Apart from the fact that it’s an unusual dial, everything seems okay notwithstanding the poor photos, and I’d take the watch and bracelet as original and genuine.
