Hi all,

My first post on the forum and already asking for informations :-p

After dealing with a fellow member (Aludic) this past few weeks, I bought another Omega (ref:166.0118) to make sure than my first one wouldn't be alone 馃榾

I haven't received the new one yet but I wanted to check out what were my options if I want to wear it on a bracelet.

I saw in an old ad here that the 1068 with 199 end links could work but it is quite a long shot to find one and furthermore at a decent price. Also I tend to prefer bracelet that give the watch a more "Genta" look with a bit of taper maybe, I am not sure...I also saw that some wore it on a 1037 bracelet, am I mistaken? What differences between the two bracelets?

I was wondering if these 70's Geneve models had been worn on such bracelets and what references should I be looking for ?

I was also wondering, as I think I might have seen similar watches with other references, if there actually was other references of this watch (166.0118) with the same look, and what difference there is between them all?

Thanks a lot in advance, I am new (new again actually :-D, I used to have a 3551.50 and a three 2254.50 that I now regret parting with, several years ago) to Omegas but loving it!

I have to say I did look up but looking at pictures on google doesn't really give any certainty as to which references to choose from. I didn't post any pictures yet because I do not have the watch yet and the pics of the ad were really crappy to say the least ;-)
I will of course keep on searching on google, but I was hoping somebody here had had to go through the same reflexion that I'm having and would have an answer all ready and nicely packaged 馃榿

Not trying to be rude, but if you actually took the time to really look through the Google search I posted you would have found two or three watches which showed bracelet reference number as well as end-link number.

Happy to help but not going to do the work for you.

I found pictures that have different options visible but for the most part they do not show the references of the bracelets. However, I had missed this ad on eBay which does give an example that works, so thank you for that one I guess馃槈.

There is also an interesting example here, but does it look legit to you guys? I have tried contacting the OP to see if he could enlighten me.

If anyone need the information, it seems bracelet reference number 1206 (32) with 673 end links works.

So to do a quick recap :

- Bracelet 1037 with 661 EL (thanks @MtV)
- Bracelet 1206 with 673 EL
- Bracelet 1068 with 199 EL

BTW, anyone knows what the numbers in a circle means (32 in the link above for instance)?

Thanks
