Omega Geneve 162.0052

I have been looking to build a little collection of earlier Omega, and started a while ago with a 1935 T17.

Having recently begun searching again, and although mainly looking for 1910/20s/30s Omega, I was taken by the attached 1970s 162.0052.

Before I took the bait and bought the watch, I wanted to ask the 'meaning' of the Omega emblem on the dial being red - I can find such red Omega symbols on the dials of other Omega, but can't find an example of this watch with the same, hence I wanted to ask if someone would be kind enough to help me understand what is signifies and / or if the dial is original.

Thanks for any help you can give, it is most appreciated.

RED is for refinished.

Lots of other red flags on this one.

How many other pieces of this reference have you studied?

PASS.
