    Hey!

For some time now, I've been interested in watches, especially in vintage watches. It is the beauty of the watches, the timelessness and the mechanics that fascinate me the most.
So I was, for a long time, dreaming about having a vintage watch myself with a really classic and timeless look. I did a lot of research on my own, asked a bunch of savants and decided for an Omega. It took me a couple of months, but finally I got one. A manual wind Omega Genève from 1969. Just to think of the watchmaker who made this over 40 years ago makes me feel humble to the fact that it has out stood the trials of time.

    All the best,
    E.

    Thank you!

I think it will be an Omega Seamaster from the 60's, if I can get my hands on one.

Well if you find one, please feel free to bring it around here for an assessment first before buying.

That's a great starter Omega. Genèves sell for too low of a price given that the often have the same calibers as Seamasters, and sometimes the same case references.

Like cicindela says, let us check out your potential purchases so you don't get hosed.
