if there is another message board within our bulletin here, please simply point me in the right direction and I will gladly take this topic elsewhere. I need to have a full, A to Z, service and even some slight restoration completed on my MegaQuartz 32 Geneve, Caliber 1320 completed and I'd like to know where the best "send off" place was to handle this. Also, $500-$600 is the absolute ceiling for something like this and quite frankly, I would do a backflip if I can find it in the $300 range. Only piece I've ever needed to do a full-service is the Aqua Terra and that was all warranty watch. I don't have that luxury with my vintage pieces and I'm looking for guidance from you fine people.

    Thanks,
    CC

    $300?

You'll do more than a backflip if you see Omega's prices.

I take it from your use of $ that you may be based in USA, Canada, Australia etc.

It would help if we knew where you are.

These watches are becoming very specialised regards to servicing and require a watchmaker with specialised equipment and possible access to hard to get parts.

@Tom Dick may be able to advise on a UK location, other locations?

Wasn't that kebab caravan up in Sydney Road across from the Brunswick Town Hall was it Al?

I got a very bad "movement" experience from that one a couple of years ago!

Haha, you guys are probably absolutely correct. I'm in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. We have an Omega Boutique here at one of our malls and I'm heading over there during lunch to grab ideas from them.

As far as the "donor movement," I like where your head is on this lillatroll but in this particular instance, I'm better off being patient and waiting for another MQ32 Geneve to come along with similar characteristics and simply buying it. This particular watch was really interesting to me because it was in great condition, it was well priced and the seller was from France and the Day from the Day/Date feature was in French which isn't something you see everyday here in the States. Oh well, maybe it will be an easy fix.

Thank you for your input gents. It was only about 3.6 quid so really fair price for what I received. I doubted when he initially wrote "mint condition" and "10/10" but sure enough, this piece is fantastic looking

Agree with the "donor" assessment for these. PS, There is an NAWCC show coming up in Chattanooga soon and that might be a place to find
what you need besides a WTB on this forum. Luck, m
