First solo at 15 and licensed at 17 on the TB-9 below, before I could legally drive a car in France.

Although I am obviously a skilled pilot deserving of wings I refuse to accept them as I’m a rebel. The young fella I became guardian of is some kind of drone Mozart, I take him to tournaments he beats those professional flyers.

Unfortunately he always beats me as well. So I got this drone, goes 10,000 feet either up or across I can’t tell yet but damn it goes high. I know we are supposed to let kids win but I want one win under my belt.

I’ll add turbo to this SOB if need be. So yes, I’m a pilot. Unfortunately this is my first flight on this and I already hit the house and don’t ask me how but I hit a bird. I felt bad but bird flew off hopefully ok.

I am now an expert pilot.

Thanks, man…I moved from the right seat of the B737 to the left seat of the B737 about a year and a half ago.

So I’m guessing we flew together (in the Navy or at Delta) at some point.

Well, we've known each other for almost 20 years, I've been to your house, you've been to mine, we've ridden bikes and motorcycles together, we've shot guns together, we're regulars at the same watch shop, we've eaten wings together and I see you almost every Tuesday afternoon to compare Speedmasters. I've even ridden in your jumpseat. More than once. Need any more clues? To be fair, although you've known I joined this forum (at your recommendation BTW) you may not have known my forum name. Semper fi, GK. 😂

Congratulations on the upgrade. Didn’t know yall have HUDs at D. We don’t have them at U. Our MAXes come with some but they are deactivated. So I have to rely on my Speedmaster for timing my burns 😜.
