Hi guys, I am trying to assemble my flightmaster 910 looking for pushers and was wandering why the variation with some pusher not in the typical half red & yellow? thanks!
iirc, the pushers on specifically the 145.013 used to be color coordinated with the chrono hands. Since there were 2 colors of chrono hand sets to choose from (red or yellow), they came with either full yellow or full red pushers. At some point, they changed it to half red half yellow to match either hand set. Please note: I'm just reproducing from memory what I think I've read (likely on these very boards) before. I'm sure there are members who can provider a more definitive answer. Yours seem to be all steel though. Are you certain these pushers are correct?
Having looked at a lot of these recently (pre purchase), I'm in agreement with @dialstatic. As far as I understand, the 910 cal watches originally had pushers with a small circular indent and either red, or yellow enamel/paint filling the indent. Modern replacement 911 pushers have a double semi circular indent are split red/yellow. I'm not sure if the 911 pushers fit the 910 cal? As DS says, are you sure the pushers you have are flightmaster pushers?
Need the case reference, not the movement caliber...pushers are case parts, not movement parts... What is the number on the inside of the case back please.
Crystal is 063TN5147. I'm guessing the pushers you have are Speedmaster pushers, not Flightmaster pushers...correct pushers would be 086ST0009. Cheers, Al
