    Hi guys,

I'm a newbie looking for information on two watches that appear to have the same issue.
If I run both watches with the chronograph in operation the sweep hand stops two seconds before 12 O'Clock,
11.58... The whole watch stops working. If I reset the watch and use the watch without the chronograph it works great and keeps
    perfect time.

Has anyone had the same experience? I had the same thing happen with a few of my Seiko 6138s.

Any advice or help would be much appreciated.:)

    Here are some pics:thumbsup:

It sounds like they need servicing. If they were working before, the resistance may have increased such that the rotation of the chronograph runner isn't strong enough to trip the minute recorder when the finger reaches the minute recorder runner - hence stopping during the movement at that point when it would advance the minute recorder. When were they last serviced?

    Hi Stewart,

Thanks for the response! That makes sense, I bought the Flightmaster a few days ago off eBay but the seller said everything was fine.
The Speedmaster has always had that issue but I got it at a great price.

    Thanks for you help:thumbsup:
