I bought an Omega Admiralty (head only) about a year ago and it's the long lugs version. I know @JimInOz and some others like these but to have the full look, you need the Omega Fixo-Flex bracelet and these are not easy to come by. This model takes the 563 end links.

Picked up one with 558 links some time ago and managed to get one 563 end link but no joy getting the second... Until recently, after 6-9 months checking, I found another full band but this time with the 563 end links I needed:D

So, as I have the two together at the moment, here's a comparison of the two bracelets for future reference (I'll move the 558 one on as I have nothing it'll fit). 558 links at the upper.

The ends are different widths and lengths so, a comparison of the two (again, 558 at the upper):

And now, my watch is finally complete:D

On the wrist from both sides:

There is no stretch at all on my 6.75" wrist so, I'll probably take a link or two out to pull it down. It's a long head from top to bottom, about 45 mm, as the lugs are so long. That's the same as a Speedmaster but the diameter is clearly smaller, just very long lugs. Because the fixed part of the end links is so long, the 'rigid' part of the watch is about 50 mm so it might be a bit long for my wrist.

Certainly, an unusual watch and very sixties:). I think just what I was hoping but we'll see:cautious:

    Cheers, Chris

I love these Admiralties, great watches and a real 'military look' looks great on the fixo-flex too! Nice catch Chris

    Lucky you!

I've been after a 563 set for ages so the hunt continues for the remaining 10 examples still in the wild.

Your Admiralty looks amazing on that bracelet, very impressed.

BTW, the 558 end link bracelet is a perfect fit for the Genève cases, I'll see if I can dig up the reference tomorrow.

Well, I can get you half way there... :D

Thanks Jim, I have seen (so far) 166.041, 166.003 and 2849 but I think the 558s are just for one or two case refs really.

Mine is a 135.015 and the 563 links are snug with that.

Hi Tom, Seems like there are a few watches that we both like:whistling:.

    Cheers, Chris

    Found it here.

It won't fit my 168.005 but it is just a smidgen wide so, I could dress it in a little. It's probably just tolerance build up. I'm not sure it suits a Connie though but it is a different look.

    Thanks, Chris

I don't think it suits a Connie either - which is why it came straight off

I like how the long lugs cradle the endlinks, in the same way the crown guard cradles the crown. The case designer was thinking about that, I'm sure.
