Right, I am aware of the repaint, I however intend to keep the watch and would really love to see it work again as it should. I would of course only let a watchmaker do that.

As for calling the Omega boutique, I haven't done it yet. I was planning a trip there last weekend but got sidetracked by higher-priority errands. I'll give them a buzz but if I get a press 1 for this or 2 for that, I immediately hang up. I hate those things. If I can't call and get a human, I just end the "call" there.

You would need a dial repainter/restorer. I know some members of The Forum have used such people and I'm sure there's someone who can recommend a good one, but it's likely going to be expensive to do right, and--- it's (probably) going to be detractive to the value of the watch. You may want to give that some thought before you proceed. If it helps any, the lume is working as intended and many, many thousands a vintage watches a vintage watches without glowing lume are sold and traded each year. There's a certain amount of value assigned to an original dial.

Me too, those are pretty irritating. Try giving the Galleria Omega Boutique a call, not sure if they have that sort of system.

I called, lol what a joke. Literally told me they can't help me unless I bring it into the store in person, then they would research their system for the part. I of course tried diligently to give them the part # number, but this person talked over me and interupted me multiple times so they could say what sounded like a script, or some kind of practiced spill. I guess I will try Austin and if I get the same treatment I will just skip it and throw the watch back in my safe.

Call the service center and ask for the parts department.

That was the Galleria that I called lol.

Well, forget the Galleria. Call the Omega Boutique in Portland Oregon and tell them that you need to order some bracelet limks and have them shipped to you. I've ordered parts from them before, they don't need to see the watch, but they may need the reference number of the watch in addition to the part number.

Or call the service center as Archer is suggesting. Omega will take care of you on this.

Awesome! I think that's going to be totally worth it, being able to actually wear the watch comfortably is likely going to help you assess exactly what you want/ don't want from it next.
