Outstanding Vintage Omega F300hz Jumbo Seamaster Chronometer from around 1971. It has been treasured, hence the remarkable original factory finish is still intact, there just cant be many left out there like this. The original bakelight bezel is unusual in that it is numbered 1-11 versus the majority of other models that are numbered 5-55.
All original, large and heavy 41mm wide (not including crown) x 46mm long x 12mm tall curved tonneau steel case in clean and unpolished condition with all edges and bevels sharp and the original satin finish present. Mint original black dial with framed-in-red Omega logo and framed date at "3". The correct black-highlighted with white luminous hour and minute hands are also mint as is the very smoothly rotating red baton sweep seconds hand. There is a small scratch on the mineral crystal as shown in the pictures.
Original thick ratcheting bidirectional rotating elapsed time bezel is exceptionally tight and clean with sharp, well defined knurling. The original black & silver acrylic inlay is also very clean in excellent condition, and its luminous "12" triangle is still present. The bezel on this piece is outstanding.
Original Omega Screw-in Crown With Logo. Screw on Case-back with Seahorse Logo. Inside case back reads:- 198.0005 and the usual omega signatures.
Approximately 3 years ago I had a full service performed by Budget Accutron Service in Waterford, MI. Legendary Omega cal. 1260 12-jewel tuning fork movement is running very well and keeping excellent time, 1-2 seconds per day, with proper date advancement.
Wrist size in photo is 7.25 inches.
This example may well be the best available anywhere, especially with the uncommon bezel.
