Omega end links 16, how much to pay for them?

Hello, a friend of mine has a pair of very rare end links 16 for vintage Speedmaster or Seamaster that I need for completing a bracelet. He’s asking me 1800 EUR, which I find a bit too expensive. I know it’s not easy to find them though. What do you think?

He’s a collector, we’re friends because we’ve been collecting watches for years and exchanged a lot of discussions about watches. He knows the value of things. Still, I believe 1200 EUR is a correct price for a pair of 16. Maybe we should meet at 1500? 😀

I'd wait. 1200 EUR I think is a price I would perhaps be prepared to pay for 6s, in my book, 16s shouldn't be as expensive.

I think €1200 is too much.

It may be the market price (i suspect not) but I still wouldn’t pay that. You’d get them cheaper by being patient and buying a pair with a complete bracelet.
