··@SpeedyBirthYearFor sale a nice Gents Omega Dynamic in very good condition.
I bought this watch a while ago after having been in pursuit of a Gents Dynamic to match my GF's Ladies Dynamic, which she wears very regularly. Picked this particular watch for its lovely condition.
After having worn this for a little while, I've had to conclude I am really more of a chronograph guy. Hence, I'll be passing this one on as I wish for this watch to be enjoyed a lot more than it has been since its production in the early 70s. It must have spend most if its time in a drawer somewhere.
Please find an assessment of the watch below. I have attempted to be as brutally honest as can be. Also note that I am certainly not the first owner of this watch, nor have I been able to inspect the movement of this front loader. Hence I cannot guarantee originality of parts.
Dial: The original dial which is absolutely flawless with the tiny lume pips fully intact. Applied logo.
Hands: Likely original to the watch. In tune with the dial, the hands glow briefly when exposed to UV. The lume seems to show some very minor cracking, which is only visible witha loupe. Orange hand gives the watch a real 'pop'
Case: This Gents version measures a solid 41mm, ex. crown. Nice fat case with sharp edges, free of any major dings and a supposedly original sunburst finish still perfectly visible. Some thin scratches. Being as humble a photographer as I am, I am confident to state that the case looks better in real live than it will in any of the pictures below.
The Hesalite crystal is free of any major scratches and original Omega, with logo in the centre.
Movement: Probably a Calibre 613. Runs and winds smoothly, keeps time and date works. Service history unknown. A service is certainly recommended when you are planning to wear this watch regularly. Note that I have not opened this watch, ever, as this front loader requires tools a narrow-minded Speedmaster fan like myself doesn't normally posses.
Crown: Original Omega crown, whether it is original to the watch, I dear not to claim.
Bracelet: 1153/138 with reasonable length and barely any stretch. One spare link will come with the watch.
Shipped fully insured worldwide, although I would prefer a F2F deal in the Netherlands.
No returns please ask questions and extra pictures in advance.
References and Linkedin profile available upon request and whilst I do not sell a lot, you will find quite a few positive reviews here on OF.
Price: €650 (Net to me) (was €790)
On to the pictures…
And... what's a listing without at least one wrist shot? Here you go!
