Love this watch, the third of the Dynamic Series from Omega. Released in 1999 to celebrate the last race of the legendary open road endurance car race which I think was called 'Targa Florio'. Very interesting watch!

The Targa Florio Dynamic was a limited edition of that model - the pictures of the one you posted is the standard Dynamic.

    This is the Targa Florio:

Love that era dynamic. The non Chrono is great looking too.

Any reason that the 10 and 2 in the Targa Florio are munched much more than the standard model?

    Different fonts referencing different styles.

The standard is a playful 50's vibe. The Targa Florio references vintage chronos and a certain other famous watch tied to a certain actor/driver. The Targa Florio watch was laser focused towards the Itailian market that loves vintage chronos and a certain exotic dialed Rolex.

No idea, but the standard to me is a far better looking watch. The problem with these models is that from what I understand, the Dubois-depraz module is somewhat prone to failure, and usually is replaced entirely if there is a problem. At least that used to be the case, not sure about now. I would much rather have the standard 3 hand of this model.

This was on my buy list for a long time. Personally I think I grew out of it, it's just a bit to playful for me. I still think the execution is perfect on these, just not my style anymore. Of course it may swing back in a few years. If one comes around at a killer price...

What would you consider a killer price for one?

Less than $1K for the chrono. With a recent service. Probably around $800 these days for the 3-hand, which is too high for me.

No idea I have not looked at prices on these for about 3 years.

Quick ebay shows about $850 for a non chrono and $1200 max for a chrono. There seems to be a disconnect on asking verses sales price on these. They have appeared to have slipped a bit.

Can someone check case size? Was there 2 different non chrono sizes? I thought they where both 38 (w/ chrono and without,) but the listings I see for the non chrono are all 36.

SO if you bought a recently serviced Chrono for 875? Good Deal?

Yeah, that's a pretty great deal for one.

After a brief look at eBay and assuming good condition it's not a bad deal. You want a service receipt and you want to make sure it's a real seller

No one here will tell you it's a good deal without pictures and info on the seller.

They are lookers. I'd get the chrono but the modular chronos are not my style. That said, I love my Chrono-matic so who am I to complain?
