Here is your chance to make your OMEGA DYNAMIC watch look new again,
From my privet collection here is a new old stock set of case, crystal and crown, all original Omega factory parts, reference No: 166.039, 165.039, 135.033, 136.033, Men’s size,

That is description. The numbers match up but Tool 107 is not curved. Also waterproof on case back is missing. The waterproof missing can occur but Tool 107 should be curved? Any help is much appreciate. Thanks.

Here is nos 166.079. The number is curved.

And, this is 135.033 to 166.939 Gold Plated case with curved numbers.

Yeah, my question is why isn’t it curved? It doesn’t look fake otherwise.

Thanks.

Anyone have an idea if they either replated it and then re-engraved or they produce fake cases for Dynamic? I don’t think Tool 107 was produced written straight, this case looks real otherwise?

So I took one for the team and bought the case. If it’s a fake the only giveaway would be the “tool 107” being straight, but I have seen the fake cases (the “dynamic kits” with the fake rally dial) and they curve the “tool 107” and also include “waterproof”.

If this is legit, it must be noted that these cases come with “tool 107” straightly written. I haven’t compared exact dimensions to an original I service with omega. I am hoping it’s real so I can recase that one eventually.

Thanks anyways.

They can't be asking very much for it can they? A nice Dynamic is still very affordable.

I like the watch but not that much. I have a soft spot as it’s a watch my dad gave me. I paid ~$250. That is reasonable for me. I need to keep this watch in family.

Sorry. Bump. Any idea if it’s fake? Are they making these cases? Or replating? Doesn’t look replated in person.

Any idea if these cases came with only Tool 107 written straight? Bad fake otherwise? Usually they curve and waterproof written?

I am wondering if this is legit. Case in my possession.

Another inconsistency... the case reference number printed while correct are printed in opposite order. Some minor differences I am not familiar with. Could this be a fake case from time period watch was sold by omega as new?

Any help is much appreciated. I am guessing this is a really good replication? But I don’t know. I can’t confirm.

I have decided to pursue case as a project. Here is thread. Going to let any buyer know I can’t verify authenticity of case. I am assuming it has to be real as some of bad errors in markings wouldn’t have been done if this was a fake. Especially, the lack of waterproof and tool 107 curved. Thanks.

Have you actually tried fitting a movement into the case yet? Given the way the case also acts as the movement holder, I would think a fake wouldn't be able to clamp a movement down as well as the original.

The dimension of case from outside are exact to my dynamic case (which is authentic). I don’t want to pop this case (it is verified waterproof and itnvoid warranty). I started project for that reason. This case should also fit a cal 601. But that is a good point nonetheless. I wish I could though do that.
