Ok so I've really mostly collected chronos and dive watches, not bothered about anything for "good" Slight change of focus recently, with not 1 but 2 slim Omegas, both very comfortable on the wrist, both a better match for a "dress up" occasion. The Connie I've had for 15 years, just got Simon Freese to service it and I added a couple of links. The 2505 "Jumbo" came from my good friend Roberto at VWC Ltd in London. Comments very welcome. 1947 2505-30 cal 263 1968 Constellation automatic cal 751
They are both beauties, each a brilliant representation of the aesthetic of its era! Wear them in good health!
Nice looking pieces Colin! I was looking at a 1940s Omega Dress watch some time ago and was told by a few experts on here that pre 1960s the dial should not say swiss made on it.
2505 really nice, I have been looking at modern and vintage watches lately with the sub dial in this fashion and really like. Now I have a vintage target to look for. more pics please!!
I like the first one as well and would be happy to wear it. Enjoy. Always good when Hoipolloi gets involved as he has eyes like a hawk with the experience to match. Took me a few minutes to dredge this out of my memory and find it but always worth bearing in mind. https://omegaforums.net/threads/latest-connie.7505/page-2#post-90022 Cheers, Chris
