Looking at both watches in blue. The Diver Seamaster with a metal bracelet and the Aqua with a black rubber strap. The watch purpose is for the sport look. I love the Diver Seamaster but it's so large and it's much heavier. The Aqua does not shout look at me and with the blue face and cool third hand that I really like it. I don't know why it costs several hundreds of dollars more with the rubber band over the Diver but it does.

If you saw my other posts, I really like the Diver, but after trying on the 2017 version which is lighter and not as big, it got me thinking about the Aqua. (The 2017 Diver is still an option but I like the brighter blue of the 2018 more.)

I welcome your thoughts as I go through this process. I know I could not wear the Diver watch when playing golf but perhaps the Aqua I could. Even my Tag Heuer Aquaracer I can't wear when playing golf which is too heavy

It really depends on your personal taste. For me I'd go with the AT or get an older generation diver 300. I'm not a big fan of the new diver.

I was considering exactly the same models as you. I picked the diver. No regrets just love. The SS bracelet gives you more value and after a few days you will get used to the weight of the diver. Of course you can always accessorize it with a NATO strap to. Make it much lighter

Really a personal choice of what you want, but since you asked for an opinion. I would go AT as I think it looks more clean. I would get the bracelet and add the strap though. Always nice to have both.

If I was going diver I would do a PO not 300. Just my personal opinion PO looks way better.

I was torn between the white dial AT and the black diver and bought die latter one just a week ago.

You can’t go wrong with either of them but the AT wears a bit bigger without the bezel and I also preferred having a quick set date.

I also thought about the old diver but it is just not as refined as the new one.

Just take the one you like better.

Why not try the Seamaster 300m?

Dressy yet has that sporty edge. Plus the blue edition is Titanium so you won't feel too much heft on your wrist. Only issue is that it will cost more than both of your choices.

But from the two you've mentioned I would go AT. It's more versatile and it can actually fit under a shirt cuff. I think the diver wears larger than the AT.

The AT is about .5 mm thinner than the SMPc.

What you have here is one of the best Omega watches ever and well worth the money over the other two. imo at least.

Totally get where you're coming from! 20190419_204229.jpg
One of the very best I have had. Too bad it was just regular SS. Would love to try out the Titanium edition some time.

A/T is more versatile, it can dress up or down.

I love 300m but the blue hand on that At... Man I couldn't forget about it. Reminds me of Zenith range rover defy. So nice.

This is the watch I normally wear when I wear a suit which I really like. So the Omega watch I would wear for mostly other occasions.

If you really want to wear it golfing, the AT is the clear choice.

Now that I have the Seamaster which I am so happy with, my next may could be this one. Now that I have fallen for the Omega craftsmanship and look, it's the only watch brand I am interested in at this time.

Ha! You've only had the SMP on your wrist a couple of days and you're already contemplating your next move.

Me too! Oris Aquis GMT on blue rubber for me tho'.

Depends on what you want the watch to be...

For me the Aqua Terra would be the choice
