Maybe I'm wrong on this, but most Omegas that are not limited editions seem to have a much bigger discount than Omega diver 300m co-axial master chronometer. If that's true, why? Looks like most AD, discount at little over 10% for the 300m with a lot of Omegas being discounted at least 25% at ADs.

 

Popularity is holding up the price.

I've been hearing rumours at the ADs that Daniel Craig will be wearing it in the next Bond movie. That and the promotional posters of Craig wearing the grey one as 007 seem to be causing a lot of the new 300's to be sold rapidly.

So why would an AD discount substantially when they know that someone will buy it for more relatively quickly?

That makes sense, but when I bought my MKII they were harder to find with the racing dial than the Diver 300s are and they were all discounted about 30%.
