    Hello!

I have just purchased a very good looking 1996 Omega DeVille Prestige Chronograph ref. 145.0050
I really like the look of it, being a dressier chronograph, but i am a bit unsure about the size.
I have quite small wrists and hands, so i actually like small watches and the idea of a more classic look (i never go over 40 mm) and have owned quite of a lot of vintage Omegas in the 34-35 range.

This is 36 mm so actually a bit bigger than what i am used to, but since its also my most expensive watch to date, i want to be sure about whether to keep it or sell it off again.

So, what do you guys think? Thanks in advance! :)
I apologize for the rather bad quality of the photos!

Size looks just right to me. It's really attractive-looking, also. I'd call it a keeper!

Thanks for your answer, Jones In LA! :) I really like the look of it as well!

I have taken another photo with a bit more of a distance, so its perhaps easier to judge whether the size is right.

Were vetting used to bigger watches. My wife doesn't like when I wear a 36 mm and that's a standard.

Your watch looks great, just don't compare it to larger watches and enjoy it for what it is.

    Perfect for a dress watch..
Depends on what you plan to do with it...

Sleeveless "Suns out, Guns out" tank top... yes too small.

    Suit/Tux/French cuff shirt... perfect.

I would change the strap though... the sporty/rallye strap seems mismatched to the elegance of this reference...

Don't try to force it to be something it isn't...

Thanks for your replies! I am learning towards keeping it, but I would still love some more inputs :)

    @Superdoc
It will be worn mostly with shirts, polos and knits, no tank tops! :)
I totally agree in regards to the strap. The ones its sitting on now is just the strap the former owner wore it on.
If I decide to keep it, I will probably buy a dark or light brown strap, just has the previous owner has on the attached picture. I think it fits the watch a lot better!

I think we just saw the 'Mystery Spectre Watch' !

You'd be crazy not to keep this one -
It'll play well on a variety of leather coloured straps.

I second this - try another strap if you can.

I'd say it's the perfect size for you. It is a wristwatch after all - the first word being 'wrist'.
