I have an old omega deville quartz that is 10k gold filled from what I think is 1980, or at least the 1970s. It has some moderate scratches and the leather band has worn, but it works fine. Not looking to sell, just wondering how much it may be valued at, how popular the model was, and the history of it.

Can't say how popular they were back then, but right now the line isn't one of the hottest selling. You can get an idea of value by searching eBay with the name and then filter by sold listings. If it was your grandpa's then I would just keep it, wear it, and enjoy it.

If this really is a certain “T Swift”, I’ll happily peruse some photos of them AND the watch....

What's the story behind the watch? 25 years where?

It was a grandparent's watch gifted after working at a bank for 25 years. No plans on selling it, just wanting to get some more information about it!

Well, quartz watches not worth as much as mechanical to collectors in general. It's gold filled, not solid, so the gold value of the case is pretty much nil. The engraving puts off some collectors if doesn't refer to their own family or to someone famous. So very little monetary value, I'm afraid. However, all the more reason to keep it in your family with someone who will wear it occasionally.

The Omega quartz watches should tell time just fine and look good on the wrist. How often do the quartz watches need service? Even a quartz movement has some moving parts that must need cleaning.

Would anyone else happen to have info on the value? I have people that ask and I just want to have an answer to give them.

If it's working with no issues and has had a service sometime in the last few years, worth probably $150 to $300. Search ebay using "advanced search" for complete auctions for quartz gold-filled Omegas.
