·Greetings!!
I picked up what seemed to be a nice Omega Deville monocoque on ebay which was a reasonable price.
When it arrived, I thought of giving it a good check over -movement and all !!!
I tried to remove the crown believing it was a split system, but no matter what I did, it was stubborn and would not come out. I even tried to make a tool from some old presto hand plungers but again no go. You can feel that it is not going to come out and what if some idiot has shoved in a complete stem instead of a two piece split stem? Has anyone experienced this and if so, how did you manage to remove the movement without damaging the keyless works ? Just dazzled 😵💫
